I hate chu

Pimples!

I dunno why but since few days ago the pimples just popped out like the mushrooms after the rain. WT?

my face is very sensitive. I cannot wear any product I want. My face so far is only compatible with Eumora and T3 Mycin but with my condition, I cannot afford to use Eumora T__T. Expensive. huwaaa

But one thing for sure, my future husband doesnt have to fund on my make up.hahahah because I cannot wear any even lip gloss.hahaha

I only can apply eye liner - and only Maybelline works so far. But to a certain extend of time. If I apply in the morning, by noon, I have to wash it away or else it will redden the eyes. and Vaseline for the lips. That's all. I'll apply compact powder on to my skin only for special occasions and suffer the consequences after that. woo  woo...

Untung la B. this one priced at RM4.90 and will need to buy maybe once in 3 years.hahaha

My cousin wants me to be made up for her wedding. I'm still deciding.hahaha

Anyhoo, the solemnization will be TODAY!!!! After Jumaat prayer. I CANNOT WAIT!

Busy DAY

Today, I spent my whole day running errands with my cousin who's getting married tomorrow. Yerrppp, nowadays the term 'darah manis' might not be suitable to be used anymore. A bride gotta do what a bride gotta do.haha

Anyhoo, I woke up early this morning as I had to go and see my dentist. I was the early bird so by 8.15am I was done.hehe I went to my cousin's house to help around. We tried to decorate the walkaway stand but my auntie disapproved of our 'creative' effort as she said the stand looked like hantu bungkus.ahahha

Then I drove her to Malacca city to grab few things. Stopped here and there, and we found this beauty center by accident. My cousin wanted to do the threading service. She said it's the first shop she found in Melaka!! Before this she had to go all the way to KL. The center also provides henna drawing service, voila, appointment was set to 6pm today.

yerppp, I was the guinea pig for my cousin. She wanted to see how the color would turn out so i was the victim.haha

I just parked my car at the porch once we arrived and received a phone call from another cousin. She had just arrived from Singapore with her kids and mom. Quick rest and prayer, off I drove to fetch her in Melaka Sentral.

I arrived home at 3.45pm. Rested for a while, almost lost myself in the afternoon nap when suddenly my phone beeped. Another cousin was asking me to get ready as we're going to find some more things and the henna appointment. aiyakkkkkk.

My cousins and me went to Tesco Cheng, ran here and there as we were running against time - the appointment. We managed to arrive at the beauty center 15 mins past 6. phewww~

Waited for the drawing to be done and around 8pm, we're already heading back to Lendu.

As the time of writing, my body demands to be on bed and sleep. But I wanna wait for my niece and nephew first.heheheheheh

How was your day? =)

Run The World Girls

Honestly, I love this better than the official video. I got goosebumps from watching this.haha

Bye!

Usaha terakhir

It all started 2 weeks ago, when there was this one uncle came to my auntie's shop for lunch. He's not a regular customer so he asked me about my background. When I told him I'm planning to be posted to Sarawak and marrying the guy there, he suggested for me to go to KPM and straight away ask to be posted to the state. Because, according to him, nowadays once you get posted to a place, it's very hard to ask for transfer. Unless a very strong reason like chronic illness. Even a marriage certificate or if you have kids dont guarantee for a transfer.

I went back home and discussed with mom. Mom later made few callings and all the people suggested to go directly to Putrajaya. I prepared an official letter and off we went.

Please note that, this is just an effort. I'm not asking for privileges to get posted anywhere I want. And I dont have any 'cable' for that matter.

Once in Putrajaya, my parents and I went to the place. My dad was looking for the parking so Mom and I went to Level 4. At the counter, we explained about our situation bla bla bla bla.

The lady refused to let us see any of the pegawai in charge. Ok I understood that maybe you received an order from your boss not to entertain any unrelated issue. And I truly understand that our posting is yet to be processed. I just wanna submit my letter to the pegawai in charge. that's all.

The lady, she was not at all friendly, making faces. You know what's her suggestion? Go to Kuching, to my maktab, ask for the posting form and change my option. ASDFGH!@#$%^&*()! WTH was that? My mom almost lost her temper so I pulled her away. I told the lady that I filled in the form like gazillion years ago, in 2009. Once in maktab, another one in UKM. It doesnt make sense for the maktab to still keep the form. T

Long story short, she didnt want to entertain us. So my mom and I waited for my dad at the lobby. When Abah came, we told him about the issue and he made a phone call. That person, who's from our village volunteered to help us. We waited for him and again we met him at the same place, in front of the lady.

The man offered to help me submit my letter to his colleague. We told him that this was just an effort from our part regardless of the result. If I dont get it, means no rezeki. He understood.

He also informed us that KPM hasnt received our names from  SPP yet. And once the names are given, there are 3 stages for the process. It takes times. Usually they will have at least 3 meetings to determine our place. Apart from that, getting posted to Bintulu might not be a problem. But not Kuching though.

He is also aware about TESL IPG group. Memang calon tercicir. He said we are supposed to be posted in June/July but somehow somebody or something are missing and our group got left behind. I consider this as no rezeki.

Anyhoo, everything is settled. I have done things that should be done on my part. Thank you to my parents who continuously support and help me in any way they could. Now, I'm leaving everything in the hands of God.

P/S I SHARE WHAT I KNOW BASED ON THE MEETING. PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY OF THE INFO HERE TO SPECULATE THINGS THAT MIGHT NOT BE TRUE. I'M SERIOUS.

I've been proposed

I'm not someone who usually watch any video posted on FB. I just watched this video like seconds ago. I know I'm so outdated.hahaha

Anyhoo, I've heard the song like zillion times but never really listen to the lyric till I saw this video.

To B, this is for you. =)... eh not the video above. Just the song.hahaha

p/s to the girl in the video, I'll pray for your happiness. InsyaAllah.

Bad dream

I dreamt of something weird last night. I was at Tampin Complex building. The one that i went for pre wed course. I was at a florist. I was holding some one's hand. He was tall, tan but i didnt get to see his face.maybe because of his height. Apparently we were choosing flowers for our home. And I called him B. But he wasnt B. I knew because in the dream I felt no love in my heart. I knew he was my husband because though it was a dream i remember that i kept telling myself to accept and love this man as he was my husband. Even in the dream i could feel my heart wrenching. Uuuuuuuu i dont like that kinda feeling....

I think that man was Kwang Soo... The one from running man show. Last night before bed, B and I talked about the show and I told him i like Kwang Soo among all because he's cute especially when he shy shy cat in front of girls.haha i even told B i would love to be his girlfriend if i was single. Damnnn!

He's only cute on certain angle.hehehehe

Kwang- vatar, they call him in Running Man.hahaha far right he is  =)

B i want Kwang Soo no more. Dalam mimpi Allah dah bagi rasa bila dengan orang lain. Dowannnnn!

The feeling is real because when I got up this morning, first thing I did was to check my surrounding. And i thanked God that it was just a dream..

Different Backgound

I never thought about this but during my pre wedding course, in one topic, the speaker talked about different background of to be married couple. Fail to adapt to the differences might lead to arguments and worse, divorce. Honestly I never really thought about this till the course. One positive thing eh?

I myself have a mix and sometimes confusing background and culture. haha My dad was born in Spore and grew up in Melaka. He's quite modern and open minded and hate to be attached to 'adat'. In life, he believes more in doing what the religion wants us to do more than adat.

My mom, on the other hand, was born in a small, really small town in Sik, Kedah, grew up traditionally as a malay girl who's very much tight to the religion. But unlike my dad, mom is very traditional and takes into account most of the adat.

My stepmom was born in N9, grew up in Kedah and studied overseas. She's just like my Abah, i think. Modern but based on religion.

My siblings and I, apart from the mixture of our parents' background, were born in Negeri Sembilan and Melaka then later grew up in Miri, Sarawak and Brunei. fuhh! So my siblings are quite fluent to speak in Sarawakian dialect and my half siblings are fluent in Bruneian language.

My bro's class. The purpose of this picture is because of the name of the school. In case people dont believe we grew up in Miri.hahaha

We met Saiful Apek when we were in Jerudong Park, Brunei. That's my sis he was hugging! the rest of us were playing bumper car when they took this picture. I remembered Apek wasnt feeling so well that night. He came with the rest of Senario guys. Wahhh gitu panjang explanation.hahaha

Jerudong Park too. But different year. All complete, the 9 of us siblings. Now I know how my parents felt when they brought us all to a place. Macam anak ayam ramainyer.hahahah

Anndddd I think because of this exposure, we are different.hahaha

Ok my pointttt issssssss.....  (ok I crap half of the page now only come to the main point..ciss!)

It's crucial to learn and accept the differences of your partner. One thing I learn is you wont get 100% of what you expect from your partner to be. The most is 60%. Therefore, setting the right mind is very important. I think I'm quite lucky that I grew up in Sarawak since B's from there. I can speak the dialect pretty much fluent - except if they use really specific term.

Though B is a Melanau, he doesnt speak the languages so do his family. Because Melanau language is totally different from the Malay Sarawakian dialect. Yesss Melanau is a language by itself just like Iban and other races in Sabah and Sarawak as it has it's own language system. Lucky me because if not, I would be so quite if they talk to each other.hahaha

Last night, my cousin messaged me, saying that she was in her fiance's kampung. She said that she has difficulties in understanding the dialect.haha Funny story though. Diera, my cousin is from my abah's side. and his fiancee apparently is a distant relative from my mom's side in Sik Kedah.hahah what a small world =). Anyhoo, she sometimes fails to understand the conversation. Well, my sis in law, 2 years into marriage with my bro still couldnt get the dialect from my mom's kampung. Her strategy when she cant get the conversation is nod and smile. hahahah

Apart from language, more things to be considered are food - like different states have different ways of cooking and also adat. One of the speaker said there's this one case, the wife is from Kuala Pilah N9 and the husband is from Kelantan. As we all know, both states have different taste in food. N9 is into spicy food and the latter, sweet. The couple has problem in adapting each other's taste and brought the issues to Jabatan Agama. As small as that. pheww!

eh... quite long already my entry. Aiyakk! I hope future brides and grooms can understand my point. It's still morning and I have so many things in mind.tee hehe heheheheheheh

Negative

There's this one group of people. Complain and condemn a lot.

There's this one guy. Who's effort includes meeting a VIP to seek answer regarding our posting issue. *Hats  off*

Sadly, the people in the first group, keep complaining and condemning like nobody's business.

First, you did nothing except complaining. Second, when some people show some efforts, you condemn. Not only him, but Dr WEE, KPM, JPA, the government as a whole. Think: what have you done in the first place?

I just hate it . To dwell with so many issues everyday, self comforting, trying to be positive each second, come some losers and say 'you wish!!' to my face, deserve a really hard slap on the face! Biarla aku nak berharap, nak berdoa. If you are that loser, go lock yourself in the room and die. Life is never a bed of roses. If they do, roses have thorns OK! *please read emotionally*

If your reason is 'i've been lied to my face several times by the gov', you can go die now. As if only you got lied la..... how about the rest of us? Ceh. Drama much?

It sucks everytime we receive some good news, it's like there's light at the end of the dark tunnel. Then come  a giant who's forehead spelt 'LOSER' hit the end of the wall and scream 'YOU WISH!!', it's so demotivating. Erghhhh geram! You think once you get posted, all problems solve ke?? More problems coming you knowwwwwwww. But if you complain so much now, just wait and see when you're in school.Gah!

ok dah. This is the effect of bottling up my feeling from the past few months. So please, if you dont believe any of the news, you dont have to waste your effort, splashing anyone who wants to believe with your negative vibes. Just keep it to yourself and the likes, k?

p/s Before anybody terasa aku sindir, this post is for those who condemn people's effort. If you sigh or tweet about the problem, I'm not directing to you. makseh.

Idea

When I was in school, I learnt about different ways of God helping His servants to find ideas. Like wahyu and Ilham.

During my degree years, I've received many ilham/ ideas for my microteaching while sleeping. Yessss the idea came in my dream. For example, during foundation year, we were asked to do a presentation each for Mdm Anne's subject. I was sooo worried at the time because I had no idea while my friends all were having bombastic ideas like the mummy, Jack the Reaper, Tennis (some I could recall). So 2 days before the presentation day, i slept. and the idea came. Alhamdulillah, I was awarded the best presenter. Thank you Madam Anne.

Another incident happened in my 1st year into degree. In a group of 7, we were to do a 10minutes microteaching for Dr. Chua's subject. And again, I was idealess for the whole week before the presentation. I was the opener - ok not funny, the one to do set induction for the whole topic. I remembered taking a nap that afternoon and dreamt of playing The Poison Box. And I nailed it!hahaha

Ok bukan nak riak yerrr. My point is..... I need a new idea for wedding theme. T__T

Today, the bridal who's responsible for my cousin's wedding next week has come to set up the dais. To my surprise, my cousin has chosen the exact design of my dais. Dahlah kaler pun purple *nangis*

I dont mind sharing the same color bla bla bla. But I'm concern that people are gonna compare hers and mine. So to be on a safe side, I think I need to change the color.

I told mom just now and she said 'Kau ni...mak dah beli dah kain...."  -- ok nangis lagi T__T

sOOOOOO I wanna go and take a nap. Hoping that some ideas will emerge in my dream.

Terima kasih kerana membaca.

The end?

of my long awaiting pending posting?hehe

Bharian today, 20/12/11

I flipped through the newspaper till my eyes caught a glimpse of the title. Finally, half black and white, the news regarding our posting.hehe After 8months of waiting. Now letsee...

For my first salary, I wanna pay back all my debt to Mom. And bring the whole family for dinner.

Hopefully I'll get posted somewhere that need me to buy NO car. Car is not even in the list. Though Mom said she's gonna give my insurance money for the down payment.

Insya Allah, InsyaAllah, Insya Allah, InsyaAllah, Insya Allah, InsyaAllah, Insya Allah, InsyaAllah, Insya Allah, InsyaAllah, Insya Allah, InsyaAllah =)

Patient

I smell of Ikha's vomit. =.='

Today is Sunday, 18/9/11 which means it's been almost 8months being unemployed. I'm still coping with the stress, self-comforting has become a ritual thing that I do everyday. Telling myself over and over again that the time will come for me to have a real job. InsyaAllah.

Money is super tight for me, for us. Though we are yet to be married, B is shouldering most of the expenses for the wedding. I really really want to help him, to share the burden. The best I can do is not asking for ridiculous things.hehe Alhamdulillah, both of us managed to stick on the budget for the gifts. It's festive season right now so we got all of the gifts at discounted price.hehehe and maybe it's the rezeki to get married, most of the things to be settled became very smooth i.e. buying the jewelleries, booking the cards. No hustle.

Sometimes I have this doubt about making the right decision to get married. Whether is this the right time for us to settle down. I mean me, the unemployed. It's not like suka-suka thing 'yeayea nak kahwin yeayea nak kahwin' kinda stuff. I think about this EVERYDAY. I dont want to be anybody's luggage, to be stuck around like a leech to B when we get married. Usually I ended up feeling helpless and wanted to call the wedding off but you see, wedding is not your own thing. It involves many parties. and it's complicated. haish.

At the moment, I'm depending 100% on my mom for the financial source. It's hard especially when mom complains about me not getting the job because it's kinda directing to me. But she is being so understanding and supportive about this. She knows that I have no other choice. Wedding aint cheap yo. My parents are sponsoring for the food and it is estimated to burn at least 20K. Because the guests are expected to be 2000 people. =.=' Takyah la cakap kahwin biasa2 ke apa. Makan jeww memang dah RM10 per head. Semoga rezeki Mak Abah terus murah.

I have my backup plan, what if the posting issue is yet to be solved by the time I'm married. I might stick to online business or... jeng jeng jeng... other business to do.heee Living cost in Bintulu aint cheap yo. Almost like KL since it's the oil and gas city so most people assume that those who work in Bintulu is freakin' rich. The rental starts at RM800 for a decent 3bedroom house... We plan to buy a house asap but the price starts at 300k for a single storey terrace house....... *korek wallet jap*.

The best I can do is be patient. I used to meroyan everyday before this but I just realize that the more I meroyan, it brings more stress on B. So it's not good. Enough with the meroyan. Be cool bebeh!

p/s I feel like writing hence the long post.hahahahah

Hotels in Bintulu

When I was in Bintulu, my sweet fiancee arranged not one but 2 hotels for me to stay. The first hotel was New Century Inn located near Medan Jaya (if i'm not mistaken). This is a new inn so the interior and furniture were pretty new. I specifically told B I wanted a safe place to stay since I'll be staying alone. The hotel is safe, and only 5 minutes drive from B's house =)

Lesgo check the interior.

It's a small but cosy room. B insisted I got a room with a window but the view was only the back alley.haha

I loveeeeeeee the toilet. Even more spacious than the bedroom.hahaha Complete with hot shower.

One unique thing about this toilet is that right in front of the toilet bowl, there was a tile with picture on it. This picture. I wonder what's its purpose. hahaah termenung time pooping???

The rate for the room is RM68 which is very very reasonable. I had a very good sleep staying 2 nights there.   My one and only complain is there wasnt any sign or arrow indicating the kiblat. I tawakal-ed by following the direction from the mosque nearby.

After spending 2 nights at the hotel, B asked me to check out because he had booked another hotel for me. He said it was a surprise. I didnt ask many question since we had agreed earlier on that I shouldnt question anything that he arranged. So in the afternoon, after settling some chores, B drove me towards the beach. When he made a turn into a new junction, I gasped! He brought me to Parkcity Everly Hotel Bintulu. I literally screamed in the car. Yeaaaaaa I know I'm so sakai. I had never in my life stayed in any beautiful hotel before this so that explains my sakainess.hahaha anyway, lets cekidaut!

King size bed all for me!!!!!!

Mini pantry under the tv

I think the neighbour could hear me scream 'tubbbbbb!!!!!!!!!!!' I utilised this to the fullest because I used the tub for morning bath too.hahaha

Toilettries

Sejadah, Koran and Bible are provided.

The place I used to iron my clothes. The iron table was provided but it was too big for me to set up.

view from my room. Near the beach.

How come only 3 pictures for the 1st hotel but gazillions for the 2nd?hahaha explain my sakainesss. My only complain for this hotel is there was no room slipper to be worn especially in the morning. I was freezing.

Thank you B for the surprise. It was unexpected, at all. He knew how much I wanted to stay in a nice hotel room. But staying alone not fun.hahahaha I dunno the rate for the room  since B is a member of Petronas Chemical Group, he got discounted price. =) *ting!

Holla!

Miss me??hehe I know this is a along overdue post. Feel like ages since I last updated my blog. My bad. I fell sick starting last Wednesday. In fact, I still am right now. Please2 pray for me to get better sooner.

How are you pretty people?

Since I got sick, I was lazy to turn on the laptop. Hence no update. I havent visited my facebook too. I only tweet to check on news. Facebook no. So i dunno what's happening there. Only can get the gist if my friends tweet about anything.haha

Bintulu was nice to me. I had a tremendous great time with the fiancee and friends. Congratulations to Edmond and Crystal on your wedding. OOpps they are currently in Taiwan now for the honeymoon. It was fun during the reception. Meeting Ambun, Julian and Visha. hee

Not only that, we went to Miri for a day trip. Miri hasnt changed that much except its shopping complex. The number has doubled since I last visited. Which I like like like. Would love to settle down in Miri. =))

Annnnddddd B surprised me in Bintulu which was so sweet of him.=)))))))))))

I bought this jubah in a rush, which made me dowanna wear any kind of jubah, ever. =.='

Anyhoo, wedding preps updates:

1. We've booked a bridal.yeayyy finally!.
2. we've bought some of the gifts and jewelleries. yeayyy!
3. we've booked the wedding invitations. yeayy!
4. we've bought the kain for nikah. yeayy!

It took us a total of 3 days to settle everything, more like rushing.haha

And I am now broke. Totally. All my salary, my life savings have been spent wisely. Hopefully real job will come real soon or else....... I need to grow hair so that I can sell.hahahahaha

p/s I miss him. sob~

Love from Bintulu.

I've safely landed in Bintulu around 4.30pm. Had the scariest flight experience so far. The plane was delayed for half an hour. Then the turbulences.... The scariest was when the plane was ready to land. Suddenly the speed increased and we were back in the sky. Rasa nak nangis hokay. Apparently Bintulu received heavy down pour at the time and we spent about 15minutes circulating in the sky. Once we landed, some passengers clapped in relief.ingat i sorg jeww takut.muehehe

Aaanyway, i'm sooo happy to see B. Had dinner at Chicken Hartz. I tell you Chicken Hartz in Sarawak, be it in Kuching or Bintulu always taste much better than in KL..

Tomorrow we'll visit Miri.ueayyyyyyyy. The last time I was there was in 2008.

Lots of love. Ngeeee

I stumbled upon this song while searching for new songs to download. =)

It's perfect to celebrate few days ahead when I'll spend the time with the fiancee. Auuuu! I'm flying to Bintulu tomorrow peopleeeeee. Attending dear friends' wedding (both my classmates) and dating with B. huahahahahahahahah. Aaanyway....let's karaoke-ing!!!

You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is my love

[Rihanna]
Baby, I love you, I need you here
Give me all the time
Baby we meant to be
You got me, smiling all the time

Cause you know how to give me that
You know how to pull me back
When I go runnin, runnin
Tryin' to get away from loving ya
You know how to love me hard
I won't lie, I'm falling hard
Yep, I'm falling for ya but there's nothin wrong with that

[Chorus]
You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is my love

You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is mine

[Rihanna]
Baby come, tear me now, hold me now
Make me come alive
You got the sweetest touch
I'm so happy, you came in my life

Cause you know how to give me that
You know how to pull me back
When I go runnin, runnin
Tryin' to get away from loving ya

You know how to love me hard
I won't lie, I'm falling hard
Yep, I'm falling for ya but there's nothin wrong with that

[Chorus]
You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is my love

You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is mine

[Bridge]
And Yes I'm kinda crazy,
That's what happens baby,
When you put it down
You should've give it to me
Good like that,
Should've hit it like that,
Had me yellin' like that
Didn't know you would've had me coming back

You the one that i'm feeling
You the one that i'm loving
Ain't no other, that's like you
No there's just one, one, one
No baby just one, one
I bet you wanna know

[Chorus]
You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is my love

You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is mine

Wedding talks!

According to the ticker, we have 5 months, 3 weeks and 4 days left before our 'I do' ceremony.

Yesterday B called me, he just had a meeting with his vendor in Sibu and confirmed their booking. His side has also confirmed the Hall for wedding venue, catering, dais and decoration, photographer and wedding cake and favors. All in less than a day. Our side???? Only the photographer is confirmed.

I straight away told mom about their side's progress. Mom said it's still too e arly. Then I told her "Mak, tinggal 5 bulan 3 minggu 5 hari je tauuu"... and she was like... whatt? She didnt know I was counting.hahaha

After she was silent for few minutes, she grabbed her mobile phone and started dialling. Apparently, She was calling the caterer, the one from my brothers' reception. She asked about the price per head bla bla bla. And the caterer confirmed that the price remains the same RM8 per head (like 3 years ago punya price) hahaha The caterer reminded Mom that she can only take 5 jobs per day and people have started booking her till June. Baru Mak nebes tau. So the catering is 50% done.tee hee

Another progress is I've booked for henna drawing lady (sukati aku jewww term macam tu) for nikah. Yesterday I asked Mom should I have simple henna or she wanted with the drawing too. She said 'up to you' la. So I said just make the simpler version. I'm gonna do it. She later said 'kita mana pandai buattttt'. You get the hint? She wants the one with the drawing. Adoi omak den! Last night I sruveyed for a lil bit, and found this lady who offers henna drawing service in Melaka. Melaka brides,,,, visit here! - Chanteq Henna Creation. She offers various packages but I'm opting for the cheapest. As long as it satisfies my mom's...

Taken from the blog

Another progress isssss I've booked an appointment with my photographer, next week. Since B's in town, it's best for the both of us to go and see him in Batu Pahat. Road trip! Haha

what else eh? haaaa.... I'm searching around for affordable homestay in Kuching for my family trip 3 days before our wedding reception. We gonna stop at Kuching for 3 days 2 nights trip before flying to Sibu.hehe I've emailed some and one has replied (my first choice apparently). I kinda like their houses since they can cater for big group. It's gonna be 14 of us. Now I need to find some money for the deposit. Oh they also have rental van service. Now keep digging Nurul till you find the manehhhhh!

So far so good. I'm changing my hard headed attitude towards Mom by trying to fulfill what she wants for the wedding. Because of our constant disagreement, nothing gets settled. So for the benefits for all of us, I follow you makkkkk!

Ok bye.

p/s I know lately I always talk about wedding stuff. Who wouldnt if you have a wedding to make?hee

Worth of Money - Wedding Photographer

I wanna ngerepak (membebel) in this post.

I've booked my photographer like zillion months ago. Ok tipu. Booked in June. I took the risk of booking him though the date wasnt decided back then. I TOOK THE RISK AND PAID THE DEPOSIT. wah emoss!

Why? Because I fall in love with his work. His pictures.

And only recently Mom knew about this. She seemed upset that I paid that much for a photographer. Penat den terang kek omak den.

It's not about the money. It's the worth I'm looking for. My mom said her school photographer only charges RM900 for an event. Mine was 2k. But I got lucky. For 2 events the total does not exceed 3k. He waives the transportation and accommodation fee. It's still under my budget. Yesss I put soo much money for a photographer. The rest - pelamin, baju bla bla I dont care. No pelamin oso can. =D

i ALWAYS, and always love to see group photos. They speak the moment.

I told my bro and sis in law about this, and they agreed with me. They told me some of their friends hired inexperienced photographers for their weddings. Some were cheaper and more expensive than mine. But the outcomes were not satisfying. There was one of my bro's friend, the photographer's charged cheap but the pictures were printed from a printer used at home!!! and the pictures were over edited i.e. the faces in the pictures were glowing -  terover terputih gitu. alaaa you know that kind of picture la...

Actually my writing was interrupted by mom about an hour ago. So I basically lost about everything I wanted to write.hahahaha

Soooo if you were in my shoes, wudcha  opt for:

a RM900 photography package but the outcomes were blerggghhh!

orrrr

pay a bit more like 2k but the result is satisfying?? it's your call. For a lifetime memory.

p/s Photo Credit

p/p/s I'm not hiring any videographer. No budget. Plus I dont think we need it. Plus Abah's camera can record good video. Plus my phone oso can record high quality video.haha later can use Windows Movie Maker and edit and include a song.hahahaha ok lame joke.

BYE!

Berkat rezeki

Since I started working with my auntie, i received some offers to be a part time lecturer at uitm Lendu. They are in a serious need for lecturers since the campus is expanding. Not that I'm not interested but it's complicated since I'm bound with a 5-year contract with the government.

Until.last week, there was this customer, apparently a senior lecturer asking about me bla bla bla.when i told him i'm yet to be posted,he asked to send a resume. I kindly explain my situation with all the contract thingy bla bla bla. He later claimed that he was under the scholarship too like me but he simply didnt report for duty and breached the contract just like that. He told me to do the same thing too. As usual, nodded and smiled.

I have this concern about breaching the contract and not paying it back. Dont you think it's like robbing the money? The taxpayers' money? It's definitely Not Halal right to spend the money and dont fulfill what's expected of you. Then where's the berkat in your rezki? It's a large sum of money of 6 years of education, everything was paid off by the government.

Just yesterday, appeared in Metro Newspapers 3 pages full of names of people who breach the KPM contract. Let's say a person was sponsored 90k worth of sum. The list showed more than few hundreds!!!! How much money was spent?

Dated 28/11/11

Eh terpanjang pulak membebel. I'm just saying. If you wanna quit, quit then but pay back all the money. Duit tak berkat bagi makan anak bini, apa jadi?

Bridal Boutiques Melaka

My mom and I are currently doing major survey for bridal boutiques lately. And it usually led to stress. Stress because Mom and I are never thinking alike =.='. She has her own taste and I have mine.

Aaaanyway, wanna list down all the 3 boutiques that we have visited so far. Not that many ponnn.

Location: Masjid Tanah near Family Store.
Package: wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond my budget. Starting from 4k. Gulp!
Comment: GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the dresses are modern and beyuuutifulll. New and fresh I tell you. The interior was nicely decorated and tidy. The lady who entertained us was very friendly. PR Skill: Tip Top. And oh, they have the dress that Farah AF wore for her wedding last time. Price to rent just that is RM3500.

This boutique is fully book for my date.takpela... memang tak mampooo pun.hehe But if you are willing to burn the cash, dont hesitate. It's definitely a good choice.

2. The one in Cheng. --

Location: Cheng
Package: affordable. Starting from 1500k. Flexible too. I told them I only wanna 2 outfits, not 4 as stated in the package. They said I'll get new dress. Wah gituuu.
Comment: Not to my liking. The boutique was untidy and got this one kind of smell. But their daises are gorgeous! The dresses not so. We were entertained by the daughter of the owner. PR skill: ehhh.

3. The one in MITC

Location: MITC
Package: affordable. Starting from 1600k.
Comment: The dresses were new and modern. Their daises too. The only thing is that the lady who entertained us. I asked about the package, about bantal nikah, about whether the dresses come with full accessories. She hesitated to answer. About the bantal nikah, I asked whether it's included in the package. She answered 'Bolehla, kalau ada nanti kami bagi '. I was like.. whatttt? I'm not asking to be given free. I wanted to know whether it's included. and about the veil and accessories also she reacted the same. One thing when she hesitated, she looked away, and refused any eye contact. Of course I'd think something is not right. So in the end, Mom said reject jahhhh. But sayang...their dresses are pwetttyyyy....

If you notice, I didnt mention the exact name or location of the 2 boutiques. Because maybe the unfortunate events only happened to me, not to others. So it's not fair to judge them by only a single meeting. Tee hee...

Now stress mode is on since only I week left before B is here. Everything needs to be confirmed asap.

Next week gonna do more survey. Stay tuned baybeh!

p/s the color theme is not confirmed yet. Because the not -thinking-alike between me and mom.haha

SPP Interview. First hand experience baby!

Today the most anticipated day arrived. The day of my interview and my vendor meeting.haha

This one does not follow the requirement. The fonts are smaller.hehehe

Yours truly. I lost 1kg due to food poisoning. muahahahahahahahha *point sebenar tunjuk gambar*

I met new people today, Fazleen from IPPMM, Bee Guat from IPIK and Kak Zukma from DPLI course. They were insane! The moment we met, we clicked instantly, especially Fazleen with her crazy outrageous sense of humor.haha

Actually there were 13 of us, divided into 3 groups. I was in the 2nd group with the people mentioned above. And I was the first of the row. So most of the questions were attacked to me. But thank god those interviewees from the 1st group had warned me earlier to be prepared and to think quickly.

List of questions asked (specific to me):

1. Kepentingan FPK
2. Relation between FPK and Wawasan 2020
3. Maksud keadilan sosial.
4. What makes a country country?

After rounds of Qns and Ans, we were asked to do a simple microteaching. =.='''''

Explain the relation between Perlembagaan, Undang-undang and Parlimen. This one I owe Fazleen a lot since she discussed about this while waiting for our turn. Or else, memang hangus la aku goreng!

We were given freedom to speak in English or BM. I chose BM. and the rest followed suit.hahahah

Since I was the first to do microteaching, I  stumbled many times. By stumbled I mean giggled. Yes I giggled because I was trying to buy some times and think of my strategy. Once I got the groove, yea baby, I smooth. Ok tipu. tak smooth pun because I didnt really know how to explain such topic.

The only thing I remember very closely was the time I called out 'Chin' to answer my question. Yes, I called the interviewer by his name, no salutation. Matilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. The rest semua muka cuak that time.haha

But in my defense, he himself said he was my students. so....

Anywayyy, he gave me 5/10 for my microteaching.hahahaha

It took 1 hour 15 minutes for the interview to end. Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

Thanks to Mom who waited for me the whole time in the car, Umi, dayah, iffa, lukman and ismail for the messages, Kak GG, Anis, Syasya and Ziela for your tweets. Mak terharu hoccayyyyy. Didnt know so many people knew bout my interview.

Okie bye.

P/s Tomorrow I'm off to Shah Alam. On Friday to Kedah, attending my cousin's wedding. Will be back on Sunday.
